Lead Preschool Teacher | Childcare / Daycare

-$20–$24 per hour (based on experience)

-Full-Time | 8–5 or 9–6

The Learning Experience® – Staten Island, NY is hiring a Lead Teacher for our young preschool classrooms ages 2-4. Join our brand-new childcare center in Staten Island, New York and grow your career in early childhood education with a nationally recognized leader in daycare and preschool programs.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a childcare classroom using our L.E.A.P. Curriculum®
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging preschool environment
• Coach and mentor assistant teachers
• Manage daily routines, activities, and classroom structure
• Communicate with families about child progress and development
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children

What You’ll Bring

• 1–2 years of preschool, daycare, or childcare teaching experience
• Bachelors Degree or 90 credits of Early Childhood Education (or currently on a Study Plan in Education)
• Knowledge of early childhood education and DAP
• Strong leadership and classroom management skills
• CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
