Location: Remote, CA
Job Description
The Department of Psychology, in the JFK School of Psychology and Social Sciences at the National University, invites applications for part-time faculty in Marriage and Family Therapy, Accreditation Affiliate. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of or potential for excellence in teaching in their field and a commitment to serving the university’s diverse adult student body. This position primarily works closely with the Academic Program Director and other faculty within the program and contributes to ensuring program quality, student engagement, and success.
Essential Job Duties:
- Support the Academic Program Directors in accreditation efforts.
- Collect and organize relevant evidence needed for accreditation.
- Collaborate with various departments to capture relevant evidence needed for accreditation.
- Attend meetings as needed with APDs.
- Assist with collection of graduate licensing information.
- Other duties may emerge as existing program processes are refined and new ones developed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree with a focus in marriage and family therapy or related field required, PhD or DMFT required.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills required.
- Ability to be self-motivated and work collaboratively.
- All skills, abilities, and education will be considered for minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to be creative and resourceful in connecting with individuals and organizations in order to obtain information from them.
- Previous programmatic accreditation experience.
- Ability to use technology for collecting and maintaining data.
