Job Description
Responsibilities
- Wage: $26.75/hour
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Day/Evening/Night shifts available
- Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our aircraft cleaning team!
Clean aircraft between flights to create a clean and comfortable flying experience for passengers.
Responsibilities
- Clean aircraft according to the quality and safety standards of the customer and HHS.
- Provide direction to cleaning agents on the proper use of equipment to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Oversee cleaning tasks to ensure an acceptable level of quality is delivered to the customer.
- Interpret and communicate any items in question in company manuals or policies to cleaning agents.
- Assist with hands-on training for cleaning agents.
- Provide feedback to supervisors and managers regarding team member counseling or corrective action.
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment for customers, their aircraft, and team members.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to converse professionally with customers and team members.
- Strong leadership skills in the workplace.
- Ability to provide hands-on training.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- At least a high school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent.
- Six months of experience in aircraft cleaning is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
- Must be able to obtain airport security clearance.
- Must be certified to complete and able to perform Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) duties.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
- Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
- Willing to work outside in all types of weather and in elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
