Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Work directly with an associate attorney to support case resolution and litigation strategy

Monitor and manage email correspondence related to active cases

Assist in scheduling mediations and coordinating related logistics

Draft demand letters and settlement demands

Prepare legal memoranda and case summaries

Perform damages calculations to support demands

Track case status and deadlines to ensure timely follow-through

Communicate case updates clearly with attorneys and internal team members

Follow instructions accurately and escalate questions or clarifications as needed

Experience in a litigation or paralegal support role preferred

Comfortable and confident with demand letter writing

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Proactive communicator — asks clarifying questions rather than guessing

Strong follow-through on instructions and assigned tasks

Familiarity with mediation scheduling and case management processes a plus
