Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical goals
- Provide direct therapy services to patients across a variety of diagnoses and age groups
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, caregivers, and families to support patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in patient care meetings, staff training, and continuing education opportunities
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship
- Active or eligible North Carolina state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with AAC, dysphagia, articulation, language disorders, or related areas is a plus
- Strong clinical assessment and evidence-based treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
