As an Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) Planner, you will shape how information is leveraged across joint and combined operations by integrating information-focused effects into planning efforts spanning all operational phases. You will examine national‐level and Department of Defense policies to identify gaps, generate feasible alternatives, and recommend strategies that strengthen decision‐making at multiple echelons. Drawing on deep expertise in the information environment, you will lead mission analysis efforts to identify opportunities to influence adversary decision cycles and inform operational design. You will develop OIE concepts of support, annexes, and supporting plans aligned to commander objectives while synchronizing effects across EW, PSYOP, MILDEC, Cyber, OPSEC, Space, and Intelligence stakeholders. You will assess competitor capabilities, behaviors, and vulnerabilities to optimize planning and integration of information activities across campaigns, targeting cycles, and daily operational rhythm events. You Have:
- Experience integrating OIE or information-related capabilities into joint planning processes
- Experience conducting mission analysis within the information environment
- Experience developing concepts of support, annexes, or supporting plans tied to operational objectives
- Experience coordinating with information-related capabilities, including EW, PSYOP, MILDEC, Cyber, OPSEC, Space, or Intelligence teams
- Ability to assess adversary or competitor information capabilities, patterns, and vulnerabilities
- Ability to synchronize information activities with campaign plans, orders, or targeting cycles
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience with information operations or Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience with information operations
Nice If You Have:
- Experience at the Combatant Command level
- Experience leading cross-functional or interagency teams in a high-tempo environment
- Experience with classified systems, policy development, and strategic communication

Compensation
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
