Toddler Teacher (Early Childhood Education) Location: The Learning Experience – Newark, DE Pay: $17–$18 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Toddler Teacher – Early Learning Classroom

The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a caring and dependable Toddler Teacher to support children during an important stage of language development, independence, and social-emotional growth.

This role focuses on creating engaging classroom experiences through structured routines, hands-on learning activities, and positive teacher-child relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily classroom routines for toddler-aged children
  • Encourage language development and positive social interaction
  • Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities and classroom centers
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
  • Guide children through transitions including meals and classroom routines
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and milestones
  • Follow Delaware licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

  • TECE 1 or TECE 2 required
  • Prior toddler classroom experience preferred
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented approach
  • Must meet Delaware childcare licensing requirements
