Process Improvement Specialist — Healthcare at Akicita Cyber — Remote

Akicita is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to map and standardize immunization reporting workflows for a nationwide Indian Health Service (IHS) project. This is a remote, part-time engagement (approximately 700 hours over a 12-month base period beginning August/September 2026).

What You'll Do

• Develop end-to-end process maps of immunization reporting and data flow across IHS Headquarters, Area Offices, and Service Units
• Build decision trees and use-case scenarios that show providers and program staff exactly which report to use, when, and how
• Clarify role delineation across organizational levels and user types (providers, program staff, quality improvement personnel, Area Immunization Coordinators, leadership)
• Facilitate stakeholder working sessions to document current-state workflows and design improved future-state processes
• Identify workflow gaps, redundancies, and inconsistencies contributing to underused or misinterpreted reports
• Contribute flowcharts, templates, and step-by-step workflows to a comprehensive User Operations Guide
