Full job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead Manufacturing to join our innovative manufacturing team in Salt Lake City, United States. As a key member of our organization, you will lead and inspire a team of skilled professionals, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production schedules and optimal resource utilization
- Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards
- Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety
- Participate in strategic planning to align manufacturing goals with organizational objectives
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain partners to optimize production flow
- Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in manufacturing processes
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating manufacturing teams
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in project management and production planning tools
- Solid understanding of quality control systems and safety standards in manufacturing
- Experience with supply chain management and inventory control
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
- Visionary mindset with a passion for driving innovation in manufacturing processes
