What You Will Contribute:
# Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor leads hourly manufacturing employees and oversees daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals are achieved. This role provides hands-on leadership, coaching, and support while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing departments.
## Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach hourly manufacturing employees to maximize productivity, quality, and safety.
- Communicate production goals, expectations, and operational updates to employees and leadership.
- Monitor daily operations, staffing, equipment utilization, and workflow to ensure production schedules are met.
- Analyze operational metrics and implement solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
- Utilize manufacturing systems for production scheduling, materials management, and reporting.
- Identify and resolve production issues involving materials, equipment, quality, and processes.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and labor agreements.
- Conduct performance evaluations, manage attendance, and support employee development and training.
- Promote a safe, organized, and team-oriented work environment.
## Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of manufacturing or operations experience.
- Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with MSDS/SDS requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills preferred.
