Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Job Overview:
We are looking for a diagnostic technician/mechanic who is energetic, upbeat, and has a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for must seek out solutions to tough problems and have a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
- Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience accurately diagnosing and repairing a wide range of domestic and foreign makes and models.
- Strong technician expertise across major vehicle systems, including engine performance, transmissions, ABS/Braking, and advanced HVAC systems
- ASE Certifications (or Master Technician status preferred), or a demonstrated track record and plan to achieve
- Meet or exceed 40-50 flag hours per week
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record, and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
