# Job Description:

Warehouse Technician, 1st Shift – North Aurora, IL

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Technician to join our North Aurora, IL, team. You will use stand‐up and sit‐down forklifts to transport and position materials while ensuring order accuracy through verification of pick lists. You will also support the receiving team by verifying bills of material.

You will:

  • Operate stand‐up and sit‐down forklifts to move, stage, and transport materials throughout the facility
  • Verify parts against bills of material and pick lists to ensure accuracy in shipping and order fulfillment
  • Safely handle materials using proper lifting techniques, including overhead cranes and lift‐assist devices
  • Perform product assembly using power hand tools as needed to support production requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by completing daily 5S and lean manufacturing activities
  • Follow all safety protocols while working in a fast‐paced environment to meet daily production and shipping goals

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with SAP highly desired.
  • Ability to operate a forklift (both stand-up and sit-down).
  • Ability to read and comprehend facility orders.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Mechanical ability and prior experience with power hand tools.
  • Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbs.
  • Steel-toed footwear is required.

Compensation

  • The hourly pay for this role is $27.79/hour. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

Shift:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday – Friday
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
