About The Opportunity
Responsible per assigned manufacturing shift, for the documentation and conformance of product to established Management System procedures and work instructions. Monitors and conveys all information to other shift Quality Technicians.Responsibilities and Duties:
- Empowerment to take responsibility for the quality of work performed.
- Perform hourly in process audits of all manufacturing activities, including assembly and repair/rework operations.
- Maintain full documentation, per the applicable control plan on items described above.
- Identify and isolate nonconforming output discovered during in process audits. Work with manufacturing personnel and identify cause(s) and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain full documentation on items described above.

- Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as directed.
Quality Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, averages, etc. Must be able to read a tape measure. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places; in outside weather conditions; and with explosives and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
