## Position Summary
The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for maintaining the corporate general ledger, overseeing the fixed asset subledger across all operating locations, and ensuring the accuracy of banking, intercompany, and financial reporting activities. This role plays a key part in the month-end close process, financial consolidations, compliance efforts, and capital asset management while supporting the organization's overall financial integrity and reporting requirements.
## Key Responsibilities
### General Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare journal entries and manage month-end close activities for corporate accounting functions.
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Assist with month-end consolidation processes and financial reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
### Banking & Cash Management
- Review and reconcile daily banking activity.
- Initiate wire transfers and ACH funding transactions.
- Maintain authorized bank account signatories and related documentation.
- Review bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed.
### Intercompany Accounting
- Review, reconcile, and resolve intercompany transactions between corporate and operating entities.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of intercompany activity.
### Fixed Assets & Capital Projects
- Maintain the fixed asset subledger for all operating locations.
- Prepare and monitor depreciation schedules.
- Track and manage Construction in Progress (CIP) projects, ensuring accurate capitalization and reporting.
- Monitor fixed asset additions, transfers, and disposals.
- Prepare monthly capital expenditure and capital spending reports.
### Compliance & Controls
- Support and maintain SOX compliance through the execution of required reviews and internal control procedures.
- Assist with audits and provide requested documentation as needed.
- Partner with the Tax team to maintain accurate property tax reporting.
## Qualifications
### Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
### Experience
- 2 to 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience working with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Experience with fixed asset accounting is preferred.
- SAP experience is strongly preferred.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Position Pay Range
$81,000—$122,000 USD
