Maintenance Technician at Friends of the High Line — New York, NY

The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the High Line's unique infrastructural elements, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. From HVAC and LED lighting to irrigation pumps, the park's signature water feature, and its wood decking and furniture, this position keeps the systems that millions of annual visitors experience running safely and seamlessly. Day to day, the Technician conducts rounds and readings of mechanical areas, completes and tracks work orders, and responds quickly as issues arise.
