Construction Manager at AECOM — Austin, TX

AECOM is actively seeking a Construction Manager for immediate employment in Austin, Texas or San Antonio, TX.

• Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
• Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
• Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
• Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
• May have budget responsibilities.
• Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
• Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
• Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day.

Minimum qualifications:

• BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• MVR check required.

Preferred qualifications:

• 15 years' experience with TxDOT highway and bridge projects.
• TxDOT precertification as a Construction Superintendent.
• TxDOT certifications in EMS, ACI and TxAPA Level 1B.
• Ability to manage personnel and fleet vehicles.
