The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for participants, families, visitors, and community partners. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing front-desk operations, assisting with participant registration and attendance processes, and supporting the program's overall administrative functions.

The Front Desk Receptionist helps create a welcoming, professional, and organized environment while ensuring efficient communication and the smooth operation of daily operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Front Desk Operations

Greet and assist participants, families, visitors, and community partners.

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries.
  • Maintain visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures.
  • Monitor front desk operations and reception area.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with participant registration and enrollment processes.
  • Maintain program forms, records, and files.
  • Support data entry and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and events.

Participant & Family Support

  • Provide information regarding programs, services, and activities.
  • Support family engagement and communication efforts.
  • Direct inquiries to appropriate staff members.

Compliance & Safety

  • Maintain confidentiality of participant and family information.
  • Follow organizational policies and procedures.
  • Support emergency preparedness and safety procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

  • Customer service, reception, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience working in community-based or youth-serving organizations preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Physical Requirements
