Production Associate 1 - Factory Worker at Cornerstone Building Brands — North Brunswick Township, NJ

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $17.25 per hour maximum $23

Shifts: 1st Shift Hours 6:45am to 3:15pm Monday through Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window units
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks
• Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex.
• Movement of carts in and out of production work area
• Loading window sash components for processing insulated glass units
• Assembly of vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass unit
• Offloading insulated glass units to carts
• Final loading of window units into trucks
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning
• Ensures overall quality of work produced by performing quality audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concern
• Work Outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Handle waste materials
• LIft moderate weight (25 to 50 lbs)
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
• Good Communication Skills
• Basic Computer Skills
• Able to read a tape measure
• Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
