The Warehouse Associate III at Airgas Safety, Inc. performs comprehensive warehousing tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and products. This role benefits from a strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols to support smooth team operations and timely order fulfillment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Confidently operate various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document discrepancies.
  • Accurately store materials in designated locations, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
  • Pick and stage orders according to customer specifications and deadlines, ensuring correct quantities and product identification.
  • Pack products securely for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including labels, packing slips, and bills of lading.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues or report more complex problems to maintenance.
  • Support and guide less experienced warehouse associates (Warehouse Associate I and II).
  • Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year warehousing or similar experience
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push and or pull up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours
  • Ability to read and comprehend customers' orders, bills of lading, etc.
  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge or ability to learn computer software systems
  • Powered Industrial Trucks- Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pallet Jack
