The opportunity:

Specialist, Global Vendor Partnership supports the Manager, GVP and their business stakeholders in managing and overseeing suppliers.

This role is responsible for working with existing vendors as well as our internal stakeholders (business leaders, legal, sourcing, ORO, finance, etc.) on all things related to vendors. This role will also be responsible for tracking and reporting our vendor activity, spend, etc. The role will be expected to bring forward ideas on how to improve the process.

How you will contribute:

  • Oversee contract pipeline for renewals and terminations
  • Regular business partner reviews to assess supplier performance, identify and address issues, plan for supplier lifecycle
  • Support renewal/termination plans, ensure on track and escalate quickly when issues arise to address in timely manner
  • Communicate termination notifications to suppliers, validate contractual requirements known and met by both parties
  • Onboard new supplier contracts into the contract pipeline and oversight
  • Provide guidance on terms within the contracts - clarify to business what can/cannot be done, answer questions raised by business – escalate to manager as needed
  • Support request for information by the business (audits, regulatory reporting, etc.)
  • Ensure business requirements have been captured accurately for renewal or termination
  • Ensure contract records accurate
  • Support the development of supplier good practices and templates within GPP and business
  • Support manager to ensure alignment with GPP category management team in identifying opportunities (cost, savings) and planning renewal timelines

  • Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to deliver cost efficiency and added value from contract management, with a sound understanding of financial and business principles.
  • Mindset of Continuous Improvement.

Salary: $53,800 - $80,700
