Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our ever-evolving Cloud Security Team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role, you’ll help secure the cloud platforms and applications that power payment experiences worldwide, driving innovation at the intersection of security, engineering and automation. Your expertise will directly influence the resilience, scalability and security of Global Payments’ cloud ecosystem while advancing our broader Information Security strategy. Working alongside architects, engineers and security leaders across the globe, you’ll have the opportunity to create modern security solutions, define standards that scale across teams and strengthen the foundation that supports our mission of delivering secure, seamless and trusted payment technology for businesses and consumers around the world.

What you'll own

• Advance cloud security capabilities by building and enhancing automated, cloud-native security solutions that strengthen protection, improve visibility and reduce risk across the enterprise.
• Drive secure-by-design engineering practices by influencing architecture decisions, establishing security standards and ensuring new cloud services align with business, compliance and security requirements.
• Accelerate security and compliance outcomes through automation that improves operational efficiency, increases consistency and enables teams to scale securely with confidence.
• Elevate engineering excellence by mentoring team members, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of continuous improvement that enhances team performance and long-term security maturity.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience designing, building and securing cloud-native solutions with a strong focus on security, automation and scalable architecture.
• Hands-on experience developing infrastructure as code and automations using languages such as Python, Bash or Terraform.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience applying security best practices within automated cloud deployment environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions, collaborate across functions and translate complex security requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management Information Systems or a related field, with experience in cloud security, application development or infrastructure architecture.

It's a bonus if you have

• Professional security or cloud certifications.
• Experience with GitOps technologies and automated delivery platforms such as GitHub, Terraform Cloud, Jenkins or Harness.
• Experience working in Agile environments and mentoring engineers while driving continuous improvement across security and development practices.
