About the Role
Available State Fair Shift times:
Morning Shift Hours available
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Mid-Day Shift Hours available
11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Evening Shift Hours available
2:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Training Before the State Fair:
Our goal is to set you up for success with paid training before the State Fair begins.
- State Fair Orientation will be on September 23rd on the fairgrounds with the State Fair starting on September 25th, 2026.
- Paid hands-on training will begin in several of our DFW retail locations to get you experience in the Brand Ambassador role prior to working the State Fair.
- In this retail training environment, you will work alongside experienced team members to learn our customer engagement and lead generation process
- Training will also include exposure to Statewide Remodeling events and home shows prior to the State Fair.
What You’ll Do in this Role:
- Engage with hundreds of customers daily in both retail and state fair environments
- Represent Statewide Remodeling professionally at our event booths and in retail locations
- Initiate conversations and create positive customer experiences
- Schedule free in-home consultations for interested customers
- Generate qualified leads for our sales team
- Work with a supportive, high-performing team
- Help maintain a clean and professional booth environment and workstation
- Event Marketing, Brand Ambassador, Lead Generation, Appointment Setting
- Retail, Sales, Promotions, Sales Associate, Merchandising
- Customer Service, Hospitality, Call Center
- Event Staffing, Team Lead Experience

- Strong communication and people skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor with positive attitude and high energy
- Comfortable approaching and engaging the public
- Ability to handle rejection professionally
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- This role requires regularly standing, walking, and engaging customers throughout the retail and/or event environment.
- Must have reliable transportation; this role may require you to go to multiple locations in the same day, or to community events, some of which may not be near public transit.
There will be a parking bonus paid out at the end of the State Fair to anyone who takes the DART train 90% of their shifts, minimum of 13 shifts to qualify, to the State Fair (parking tickets are not provided daily to the team)
