About The Opportunity

Manage all aspects of the technical department including managing maintenance costs, contractor-performed maintenance, regular and preventive maintenance, and new equipment installations.

# Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a cohesive team for technical employees focused on company objectives of safety, quality, service, and efficiency.
• Drive and apply lean principles to the maintenance processes to minimize waste and increase the throughput.
• Use data collection processes to evaluate unplanned downtime and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain monthly R&M spend for the facility.
• Organize and track capital projects.
• Maintain production standards and measurement systems as required.
• Promote employee engagement activities to create and maintain a positive work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Safety metrics
• Scrap / Lbs processed
• PM compliance
• Unplanned downtime
• Mold change time (if applicable)

# Education/Certification:

Level Required Level Desired

High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree – Technical

Management or Plastics Engineering

Master’s Degree

Experience to be considered in lieu of education

# Work Experience:

Required

• 5-10 years of relevant work experience
• 2-5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment
