Field note: why we built a Telegram bot

Jobeezy started as a mobile app. After the first few thousand users, we noticed a pattern: people wanted one daily summary of new matches, delivered to the place they already chat. Telegram kept coming up — in Latin America, the Middle East, parts of Europe, Telegram is the default messenger.

So we built @JobeezyBot.

What it does

• /start — connect your Telegram to your Jobeezy profile with a one-time code.
• Every morning at 8am your local time: a 5-message summary of new matches above fit score 70, with a deep link into the app for each one.
• /search — quick search with filters (role, metro, fair-chance).
• /status — your application pipeline.
• /snooze — pause alerts.

What we chose not to do

• No "AI chat" bloat. We're not a chatbot wrapper.
• No spammy notifications. One summary a day, more only if you ask.
• No contact scraping. We touch only the data needed to match you.
