Key Responsibilities
Develop a business plan that includes goals, objectives and strategies that ensure budget attainment of sales goals, margins and direct selling expenses to meet profit goals. Directly supervise Account Managers, Technical Account Specialists (TAS), and Sales Assistants. Develop and implement strategies for maximizing Company opportunities for Fisher control valves, pressure relief/management valves, isolation valves, regulators, actuation devices, and measurement solutions. Collaborate with other Puffer-Sweiven Sales Managers and Business Unit Leaders to identify, develop and achieve results for the markets served. Collaborate with and develop relationships with principal manufacturers including but not limited to Emerson to maximize results. Identify Puffer-Sweiven opportunities (all products) in the markets served. Establish and maintain relationships with End User and Power customers. Qualifies and/or initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets. Evaluates sales performance and gives feedback consistently, regularly and in a timely manner based upon observed examples of sales representative performance. Creates an environment of success while building a strong team. Spends a large part of time interfacing with Salesforce and customers. Monitors sales team performance and communicates results to individuals, teams, the Division and Corporate. Leads, develops, and directs personnel resources attached to the sales department to include managing the selection, retention, development, measurement, motivation and cooperation of the sales staff. Ensures that the Company’s policies are communicated and implemented. Implements sales and/or marketing strategy. Responsible for developing and or adapting to new markets. Responsible for developing and maintaining proper work processes that will assist and provide the lowest cost to sale while maximizing margin.
Provides quarterly Company management presentation of team strategies, objectives, activities and results.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge
BS/BA/BBA Degree required. Strong Knowledge of either the Process End User Market or Power Industry. Experience working with multiple Business Units outlined within Final Control. Experience in selling both Final Control products and services, including field services and depot (shop) repair services. Experience managing outside and inside sales teams.
Experience
2-3 years of successful sales management experience or leadership preferred 7-10 years overall experience in industrial valve sales

Demonstrated leadership and financial management skills.
