Location: Hempstead, TX Schedule: Full – Time

Williams Business Solutions has an immediate opening for an individual to support various areas of the business. This position will support the overall office by providing high quality bookkeeping and clerical services. This role will work closely with our staff and customers to ensure alignment of process and procedure to offer continuous process improvement. Please do not call – email only. *Responsibilities included but not limited to:*
- Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors
- Organize monthly receipts for processing
- Post necessary accounting data into designated accounting programs
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements and loans
- AP and AR coding and processing
- Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: faxing, scanning, mailing and filing.
- Review and prepare general correspondence using Microsoft programs
- Utilize and create Excel spreadsheets
- Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
- Assist the front desk with answering telephone calls and guest walk-ins.
- Light Housekeeping
- Assist with special projects as necessary
- Run errands
- Other duties as assigned
*Requirements:*
- Have basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- QuickBooks Desktop Required
- QuickBooks Online Required
- Pleasant and professional phone voice
- Excellent communications skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Proficient with 10-key, calculators
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Must work well with others and have a can-do attitude
- Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions
- Great level of reliability and accountability
- Proficient in English reading and writing
- Maintain confidentiality regarding client information

*Education and Experience:*
- High School diploma or GED, required
- The legal authorization to work in the US for any US employer without limitation
- 2 – 3 years of experience with bookkeeping / accounting
*Work Environment, Schedule and Benefits:*
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, calculators, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Our normal business hours are Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm. Some overtime is available at peak times.
Paid Time Off is available. We do not offer health insurance at this time. We do have supplemental insurance available.

While performing the duties of this position, an employee is regularly required to sit for long periods, stand, talk and hear both in person and by telephone, use hands to operate and handle office equipment, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, climb, stoop or bend and lift up to twenty-five pounds.
