Position Summary

We are seeking energetic, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Retail Sales & Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you will engage with shoppers in a retail environment, educate them about available energy plans, and help them select the best option for their household needs. The ideal candidate is outgoing, sales-driven, and enjoys interacting with people in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Approach and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Educate customers on available electricity and energy plan options.
• Explain pricing, contract terms, promotions, and plan benefits.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable energy solutions.
• Process enrollments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a positive customer experience from initial interaction through enrollment.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance metrics.
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and objections professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales booth or kiosk area.
• Participate in ongoing product knowledge and sales training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous sales, retail, customer service, or promotional marketing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable approaching and speaking with customers.
• Goal-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and tablet proficiency.
• Reliable transportation and flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.

Preferred Skills

• Retail sales experience.
• Experience working with energy, telecommunications, or subscription-based services.
• Strong objection-handling and closing skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with customers.

Work Environment

This position is based inside retail stores where representatives actively engage with customers walking through the store. Employees should be comfortable standing for extended periods, interacting with a high volume of customers, and working in a goal-driven sales environment.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per week
