Hamann Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to support a growing book of business while enjoying a collaborative team environment, flexible PTO, casual dress, and competitive benefits. We are in Katy, Texas, conveniently located near both I-10 & Grand Parkway (99). We've been helping clients protect what matters most for nearly 50 years. We work hard, support each other, and occasionally debate important topics like where to order lunch.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000+ based on experience, licensing, and production abilities

In Office Position Full Time

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

*Personal Lines/Property & Casualty Account Manager*

*RESPONSIBILITES:*

  • Manage a book of personal lines accounts, including renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and remarketing opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client requests and coverage questions.
  • Review client insurance programs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions to protect their assets and exposures.
  • Prepare applications, obtain quotes, and market new and renewal business with insurance carriers and brokerage partners.
  • Support sales initiatives by identifying cross-selling opportunities, rounding out accounts, and generating referrals.
  • Assist clients with claims reporting and serve as a liaison between clients and carriers throughout the claims process.
  • Verify policy information for accuracy and facilitate corrections when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and activity records within the agency management system.
  • Collaborate with producers, carriers, and team members to deliver a high level of service and client retention.
  • Perform other duties that contribute to the success and growth of the agency.

*PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:*

  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and carrier markets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, carriers, and team members.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to explain insurance coverages and concepts in a clear and professional manner.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to industry changes.
  • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, and a positive team-oriented attitude.

*REQUIREMENTS:*

  • Property & Casualty Insurance License required
  • Minimum 3-5 years independent agency experience preferred
  • Experience with insurance sales
  • Experience with Applied EPIC agency management system
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and remain calm when a client calls five minutes before closing with an "urgent" question.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
