Packaging Operator

• The Ozurdex packaging department is primarily a production assembly area with the main responsibility upgrading Ozurdex pouches from stage 4 level to a final packaged configuration requested by the customer through PMR and according to SOPs specific to the area.
• The key requirements of the position are adhering to EHS requirements, ensuring product is packed to the required quality standard as per SOP’s and compliance standards. and performing assigned work at the prescribed levels of efficiency to with customer requirements.
• Work within the required H&S standards, adhering to all policies, procedure and site rules and ensuring any H&S issues are raised with the department manager or on the designated EHS database. Ensure correct use of PPE and compliance to same within the site.
• Work to the quality standards, policies, procedures and site rules ensuring that customer expectations are met at all times.
• Perform to the prescribed levels of efficiency ensuring customer demand is serviced as required.
• Maintain acceptable levels of timekeeping and absence levels ensuring compliance at all times with the attendance policy.
• Actively participate in the training and certification in line with your role.
• Be flexible in your role ensuring to provide support to other areas if needed at times.
• Relationship Building: establishing excellent working relationships with colleagues and peers through positive behaviors and engagement.
