Shipping Associate 1st Shift
Full job description
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loader will be responsible for loading window units into trucks using carts and hand carts and stacking units safely and securely
- Pulling units from staging bays using a pick sheet and loading onto carts
- Scanning units onto truck using handheld scanners
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate with other team members
- Staging window units from production lines into staging bays
- Assist in other areas in the department as needed—housekeeping, unloading trailers, etc
- Wear proper safety equipment and follow all safety protocols
- One-year experience loading freight by hand in a manufacturing/warehouse setting
- One-year experience with RF/Handheld scanners
- Candidate must be able to work up to twelve hours in a shift Monday through Friday with mandatory Saturdays; work hours are dependent on work flow and season of the year
- Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
