How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Responsible for the technical leadership of the compressor maintenance team, ensuring the high-quality execution of scheduled and predictive maintenance, and serving as the primary technical resource for field technicians and regional companies.
- Technical Field Leadership: Direct on-site supervision for multi-stage compressor overhauls and peer mentoring to elevate technician performance. Lead the hands-on execution of complex maintenance and overhauls for high-pressure systems.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous review of maintenance logs to guarantee all technical repairs adhere to Airgas standards and manufacturer-specific requirements.
- R&D Testing Execution: Serve as the primary technical lead for new technology validation, providing comprehensive field performance analysis to the Compressor Maintenance Manager.
- Regulatory Compliance: Provide process and instrumentation diagrams as required for compliance and implement best operating practices for regional cylinder fills.
- Operational Readiness & Resource Coordination: Manage the daily allocation and maintenance of specialized tooling (e.g., helium leak detectors, high-pressure torque kits) and critical spare parts inventory. Coordinate logistics for field service work to ensure technicians have the exact materials needed to complete jobs on the first visit, maximizing departmental efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Assist in departmental inventory control to ensure operational readiness.

- Strong interpersonal skills
- An associate’s Degree in Mechanical field (preferred)
- At least three (3) years hands on experience in high pressure compressor maintenance and operation
- Require familiarity with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software (SAP/Intelex) and specialized diagnostic software for vibration analysis
- Hands on experience with CAD and developmental computer skills
