Shipping Clerk

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for processing shipments to customers based on daily orders and manages inventory within the line for assigned customers.

Responsibilities

• Review daily orders
• Pick orders
• Confirm items in the racks are correct
• Process each order in the queue for that day
• Replenish stock in racks based on procedure
• Process orders
• Using correct screens, process orders in queue
• Verify each item in the order is correct
• Process the order in the system
• Ensure product is labeled, sealed, and placed on the correct pallet
• Other duties as may be assigned

This is a 1st shift position in a climate-controlled environment.

• JD Edwards and shipping program experience a plus, but not required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred, but not required.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Adaptable to change (workload, priorities, etc).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Critical thinking ability in a fast-paced environment.

Disclosure Statement:

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $17.43 to $21.01 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
