Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as an Residential Energy Auditor. You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re)audits, pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Support Program Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency and demand response retrofits or services. Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.  Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and recommends solutions.

• Install smart (wifi-enabled) thermostats and assist customer in app-based program enrollment.
• Provide emergency/support services to demand response customers.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, regarding installation in accordance with client specifications
• Act as a local, on-site program and company representative to customers; encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
• Travel throughout a defined territory

Cross-functional training opportunities:

• Conduct quality assurance reviews and residential energy audits (on-site verifications and electronic review of field data entered into program database)
• Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
• Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

• Customer-service focus and strong interpersonal skills
• 6 months - 1 year of relative industry experience (preferred)
• High school diploma required

Targeted Compensation:

$18-21/hr

DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

$18.80 - $28.30Currency

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
