Full job description
AECOM's Mechanical Engineering group is seeking a dynamic, talented Mechanical Engineer II for immediate employment to be based out of our Philadelphia, PA location.
Projects include transportation and aviation projects, including bus and transit facilities, airports, and related buildings.
- Design the mechanical and/or plumbing systems
- Collaborates with architects, engineers, vendors and clients.
- Performs HVAC and/or plumbing engineering calculations.
- Prepares and deliver high-quality drawings (AutoCAD and Revit), specifications and reports.
- Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Conducts site visits to document mechanical and/or plumbing systems.
- Manages multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS +2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within one year.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Building HVAC and/or Plumbing design experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of related HVAC and/or Plumbing engineering experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience as a lead engineer on project design.
- Relocation assistance is available for this position.
