Marmon Aerospace and Defense is hiring a full-time Planning Coordinator to join our team. This person will be supporting our supply chain team and reports to the plant manager. Onsite role in Naples, FL. Great benefit package starting on Day 1!

SUMMARY:

Responsible a variety of administrative tasks and handling extensive paperwork related to materials management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle and organize documentation related to materials management.
  • Utilize Excel and other software tools for data entry and management.
  • Planning, creating, and releasing job cards and packets to the shop floor.
  • Work with Supply Chain to ensure all required raw materials are available in time to release orders.
  • Assist supply chain on Kanban changes and additions.
  • Maintain kanban for manufactured items.
  • Attend cross-over, non-conforming materials, sales & operations, and any other meetings deemed necessary.
  • Purchase order entry for raw materials and other goods (back-up to supply chain).
  • Scan documents into systems and to the supply chain team.
  • Conducting floor count and utilizing WinMan ERP.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by the Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work in a team setting.
  • Ability to multitask while prioritizing responsibilities.
  • Self-starter with ability to effectively utilize existing resources to solve problems.
  • Computer Literacy and comprehension.
  • Ability to prioritize.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related discipline or at least one year related experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
  • Familiar with Lean and 5S principles.
  • No experience necessary.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with various departments and vendors.

  • Candidate must possess the ability and willingness to do the following (with or without reasonable accommodations):
