90CDL A Transit Driver - Doubles Endorsement Required

Location: 852 Voluntown Road, Jewett City CT

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a transit driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be transporting loaded and empty trailers, singles or doubles, from GFS Distribution Centers or from point-to-point via night transit. Night shifts mean you’ll be home every day, and there's not touch freight required. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday Start time between 6:30p-7:30pm & work until finished

Pay: Our drivers annual pay ranges from $90K to over $110K!

Component Pay: Pay per day and per trip

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience with your class A
• Doubles (T) endorsement required
• Must be able to push and pull up to 50lbs (connecting trailers)
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
