Accounting Associate, Accounts Payable

The purpose of this job is to perform routine AP accounting activities such as coding invoices, submitting invoices for payment, and payment research.

• Verify and code high volumes of vendor invoices to be submitted for payment.
• Electronically route invoices to internal team members for approval and processing.
• Coordinate with internal team members to maintain bot reports and create payment uploads.
• Work with vendors and internal team members to reconcile and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Ensure that transaction entry verification procedures are followed.
• Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

We are seeking applicants with a local presence in Knoxville, TN or the surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required
• Associate degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Accounts Payable experience preferred
• General Ledger experience preferred

Specialized Knowledge

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required
