Foundry Laborer at Wabtec — Export, PA

• Proper Setup and Safe operation of hot metal molds.
• Utilizes Foundry principles of metal melting, pouring (ladling), solidifying and familiar with proper handling opening and closing of hot metal (permanent molds or others).

What do we want to know about you?

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• This position requires accuracy and responsibility as many duties must be performed without close supervision.
• Training and/or experience using Foundry hot metal Molds including Furnace(s) apparatus is preferred.
• Minimum 3-6 months on the job training under close supervision.

The salary rate for this role is currently $19.00 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
