Customer Service Representative Up to $29.00 per hour 1st Shift

What You'll Do

As a key member of the team, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers, ensuring a seamless experience from order placement through fulfillment.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service regarding material availability and order status via phone and email Coordinate issue resolution between customers and internal departments including Purchasing, Contract Administration, Finance, and Plant Operations Support internal sales initiatives and track progress toward customer service and order-related goals Create, update, and maintain reports related to customer issues, order activity, and sales performance Complete order entry and prepare customer quotes as assigned Assist with receptionist responsibilities, including answering and directing incoming calls Demonstrate a willingness to step in and support the team wherever needed Deliver professional, accurate, and timely written communication to customers and internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency with advanced Outlook skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Proven problem-solving abilities and commitment to customer satisfaction Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable for achieving goals and results Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree Experience in a manufacturing environment Background in customer service, sales support, purchasing, or order management Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams
