What You’ll Do
As a Process Technician, you’ll be part of our Manufacturing team located in Chesterfield, MI. You’ll get to:
- Operate Injection Molding Machines – Arburg, Toshiba, Engel
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and operate thermolaters, Hot Runner systems, Material dryers, monitoring systems, End of arm Tooling, bagging machine and grinders.
- Operate and program sprue pickers and multi – axis robots
- Troubleshoot all equipment and perform maintenance requests with pertinent information and identify root causes for quality issues.
- Perform a process transfer to match original Master Process – matching fill rates, gate freeze, cooling and cycle times, etc with a repeatable process.
- Create labels and generate appropriate workorders. Perform workorder changes
Who You Are
- High School diploma required
- 3 years experience with injection molding
- 2 shot molding experience
- RJG scientific molding certification - preferred
- Computer skills, specifically with performing inventory transactions
- Forklift certified or ability to successfully complete
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb, etc for 8 hours or more.
