Broadridge is hiring! We’re seeking a Reconciliation Senior Associate is responsible for performing and supporting end-to-end reconciliation activities in a BPO/shared services environment. This role ensures high-volume transactional and account reconciliation work is completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with client requirements, internal controls, and service level agreements.
The role involves identifying and investigating discrepancies, resolving breaks, escalating unresolved issues, and supporting process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. The Reconciliation Senior Associate serves as a subject matter resource within the team, provides informal guidance to junior associates, and helps maintain strong operational discipline in a client-driven delivery environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reconciliations for assigned client accounts, processes, or transaction streams.
- Compare data across systems, reports, statements, or source documents to identify mismatches, breaks, and exceptions.
- Investigate reconciliation variances and follow established procedures to resolve discrepancies accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Track open items, unresolved breaks, and aged exceptions, and ensure appropriate follow-up and escalation.
- Maintain reconciliation logs, exception trackers, audit trails, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure work is completed in line with standard operating procedures, client requirements, internal controls, and quality standards.
- Review data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before finalizing reconciliation output.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Compliance, and Technology to resolve issues.
- Escalate complex, high-risk, or recurring issues to team leaders or managers in a timely manner.
- Identify recurring error patterns and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort, improve turnaround time, and strengthen accuracy.
- Support onboarding, cross-training, and knowledge sharing for junior team members.
- Assist in preparing operational reports on volume, exceptions, aging items, accuracy, and productivity as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in reconciliation, transaction processing, finance operations, back-office operations, or shared services/BPO.
- Strong understanding of reconciliation concepts, exception handling, and process controls.
- Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven operational environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with operational systems, or workflow tools. BPS, IMPACT, Proactive, Postedge, Intelimatich.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in BPO, shared services, banking operations, finance and accounting outsourcing, or payment operations.
- Exposure to client-specific SLAs, quality metrics, and operational reporting.
- Knowledge of audit, compliance, and control requirements in a processing environment.
- Experience supporting process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $32/hr - $37/hr USD. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, location and education.
