SUMMARY:
The Project Planner/Coordinator is responsible for scheduling manufacturing projects from engineering through to shipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinates between engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to provide delivery dates for sales quotations.
- Creates schedules for multi-module projects which enables engineering, procurement, assembly, test, and shipping teams to effectively execute projects.
- Continuously monitors projects to identify and address issues that may affect the schedule.
- Reports on projects status/risk, schedule, issues, and plan versus actual costs.
- Acts as a liaison within operations to enable the effective flow of information and materials.
- Improves and maintains standard build plans by working with assembly teams, engineering, manufacturing engineering and sales.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- An associate degree in a technical or business-related discipline is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two – four years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated communication, organization, and planning skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of XA and MRP or an equivalent ERP system is required.

- Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
- Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally
- Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally
- Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
- Travel by air or car occasionally
