About This Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Field Service Representative to deliver exceptional on-site technical
service as the primary technical liaison between Veolia and our industrial customers. You'll work
independently across diverse industries, providing expert installation, maintenance, and
troubleshooting services for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems while building
lasting customer relationships through technical excellence.
What You'll Do
- Technical Service and Installation: Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations
- Water Testing and Analysis: Obtain samples and perform water testing to include pH, conductivity, hardness, silica, PTSA, etc and enter data into Veolia’s trending platform (Insight)
- Customer Consultation: Act as technical consultant providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams
- System Optimization and Troubleshooting: Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issues through remote support technologies and on-site interventions
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and ensure all safety protocols are followed
- Territory Management: Support multiple customer sites within assigned territory, coordinating with sales teams for optimal service delivery
- Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline preferred, a high school diploma or GED is required.
- 2-5 years of experience in instrumentation and electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training
- Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred
- A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel (a learner's permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify)

- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Safety-minded approach with ability to work in various industrial environments
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform precision work
- Computer proficiency and mathematical skills for technical analysis
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs as needed (frequency varies by worksite)

Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the hourly range: $30.00 - $37.00
