Bend Trainee at Smiths Group — 93 Lexington Drive, NH

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto workpiece
• Sets up and operates benders
• Cuts, deburrs, and sizes bent tubes to verify conformity using fixtures or mylars as needed
• Positions, aligns, and fits parts together
• Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications
• Fabricates and assembles tubing metal products
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
