Director, FP&A- Capital One Auto
Overview:

Responsibilities
- Effectively and efficiently lead core finance functions, which include reporting, annual budget setting, near-term target management, and longer-term forecasting. Drive innovation and process improvements.
- Develop financial objectives in support of business goals. Provide impactful strategic and analytical guidance by connecting operational principles and initiatives to financial implications.
- Drive multiple projects by providing thought leadership and working closely with subject matter experts across different groups. Apply integrative thinking skills to current challenges & opportunities.
- Manage and develop a team of analysts, coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of developing and retaining top talent.
- Contribute meaningfully to the broader organization outside day-to-day responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other quantitative discipline, or military experience
- At least 7 years of experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, Strategy Consulting, or a combination
- At least 4 years’ experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
- At least 3 years of people management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- 8+ years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- 5+ years’ experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
- 4+ years of people management experience including both direct & indirect reports
