Courier-Part-Time at Eurofins — Marion, OH

The Courier is responsible for transporting water samples and related materials to and from various collection sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery to the laboratory for testing. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and commitment to maintaining the integrity of the samples during transportation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sample Pickup and Delievery:

• Transport water samples from designated collection points to the lab.
• Ensure all samples are collected and delievered according to the labs schedules and protocols
• Adherence to Safety and Compliance Guidelines
• Ensure proper handling, packaging and labeling of samples to prevent contamination or damage. Follow safety and regulatory guidleines to maintain sample integrity.

Timely Transportation:

• Maintain a timely delievery schedule to ensure that water samples arrive at the laboratory within the required time frame for testing.

Communication:

• Provide regular updates to the lab and logistics team regarding pick-up and delievery status.
• Report any issues or delays immediately

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Ensure the courier vehicle is clean, maintained and in good working condition
• Report any vehicle issues to the Logistics Manager

Education/Experience (Basic Minimum Qualifications):

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Previous experience in a courier or delievery role is preferred, particularly in a scientific, medical or laboratory setting.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):

• Strong organizational and time managment abilities
• Attention to detail and adherence to protocols
• Reading maps and following directions
• Operating a motor vehicle
• Computer skills preferred
• Ability to prioritize
• Effective communication with supervisors, laboratory staff and clients
• Position is full-time Monday - Friday, hours will vary
• Position will report to our Marion, OH site.
• Pay rate: $18.00/hr
