Sr. Manager, Strategic Commodity Management at 101 Bloom Energy — San Jose, CA

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Strategic Commodity Management to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Director of Supply Chain and will be based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Global Commodity management of strategic tier 1 and 2 suppliers, with an emphasis on global sources of raw materials
• Become our SME on the Chrome Supply Chain
• Hold QBR's, identify and develop new suppliers, coordinate internally as necessary to meet operational targets for supply, cost reduction and OTD
• Influence supplier capacity planning; negotiate MOU's, LOI's, contracts; maintain and develop close supplier relationships at Executive levels
• Approximately 30-40% travel, including international

Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of strategic sourcing of metals, REE's, chemicals, ceramic or metal powders
• Extensive, global supplier development experience; experience with mining a plus; prior management experience a plus.
• Prefer technical degree
