Verdant Specialty Solutions is seeking a SAP Finance Analyst to serve as the business-facing functional analyst supporting Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Profitability Analysis (COPA), and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) within our SAP S/4HANA environment. This role partners with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Compliance, and IT stakeholders, along with Verdant’s third-party SAP support provider, to improve business processes, maintain financial master data and reporting structures, coordinate system enhancements, and drive continuous improvement across finance operations.
This position is fully on-site in Houston, TX and requires periodic travel (5–10%) to other Verdant locations.

What You’ll Do
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and develop functional specifications. Coordinate SAP enhancements, testing, and deployments with Verdant’s third-party SAP support partner. Support Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Profitability Analysis (COPA), and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) business processes. Maintain finance master data, reporting hierarchies, charts of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, and related financial structures. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including reconciliations, intercompany processing, allocations, and management reporting. Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics supporting Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Compliance, and executive leadership. Create and maintain ERP procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), document results, and support deployments. Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing functional support. Partner across business functions to improve ERP adoption, financial reporting, internal controls, and business performance.

What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered. Functional SAP S/4HANA experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Controlling, reporting, testing, business process improvements, or ERP enhancements in a manufacturing environment. Experience supporting one or more SAP finance functional areas, including FI, CO, COPA, SAC, Group Reporting, or Financial Planning. Manufacturing industry experience required; specialty chemical, batch, or process manufacturing experience preferred. Experience creating user documentation, standard operating procedures, and end-user training materials is preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is preferred to support communication with Samyang Group and global business stakeholders.
