Role Overview

The Marketing Manager II designs, develops, and implements commercial plans, promotional programs, and omnichannel tactics that support the VENCLEXTA AML strategic brand plan. The role leads key non-personal promotion initiatives, media planning and execution, digital marketing activities, and customer engagement strategies. In addition, this role will be responsible for peer-to-peer elements. The MMII partners across Marketing, Commercial Operations, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Research, Business Intelligence, Regulatory, Legal, and agency partners to deliver integrated campaigns that advance brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development and execution of the VENCLEXTA AML Non-Personal Promotion (NPP), media, Peer-to-peer strategy and tactical plan aligned with brand objectives.
  • Manage media strategy, planning, optimization, and performance measurement across digital and traditional channels.
  • Develop and execute customer-centric omnichannel campaigns targeting healthcare professionals and key AML stakeholders.
  • Translate brand strategy into impactful promotional and non-promotional assets across digital, media, and engagement channels.
  • Partner with analytics and market research teams to evaluate campaign performance and optimize investments.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Excellence partners to ensure integrated customer engagement.
  • Manage media, digital, creative, and peer-to-peer content agency partners as well as operational/logistics partners.
  • Support promotional initiatives tied to key brand priorities, data milestones, and lifecycle opportunities.
  • Oversee digital customer journeys, audience segmentation, and personalized engagement strategies.
  • Manage annual budget planning, forecasting, and financial stewardship for NPP and media investments.
  • Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, customer behavior, and media innovation.
  • Participate in field engagements, customer interactions, market research, and congresses.
  • Continually evaluate marketing effectiveness and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Communicate business recommendations, performance updates, and strategic plans to leadership.

Candidate will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.

  • Oncology and/or hematology marketing experience.
  • Experience leading digital marketing, omnichannel engagement, media strategy, and NPP initiatives
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Experience with peer-to-peer strategy and execution.
  • Demonstrated success managing agency partners and complex cross-functional projects.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience leveraging performance data.
  • Launch experience and/or experience supporting major data milestones.
  • Understanding of customer engagement strategy, audience segmentation, media optimization, and omnichannel orchestration.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed commercial environment.
  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of thisposting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location,and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
