Forklift Shipping/Receiving at 300 Clayton Properties Group Inc. — Westmoreland, TN

The Position:

The Forklift Operator/Yard Materials Handler is responsible for the safe & efficient movement of materials, including basic organization of our material products to specified areas within & outside of the facility.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with Department Supervisor & Materials Manager.
• Receives returned materials and processes appropriate paperwork.
• Loading & unloading of materials.
• Maintains quality & accuracy expectations of documentation.
• Required to help with quarterly inventory.
• Performs other duties as required by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to push, pull, bend, and lift at least 50lbs. consistently
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours
• Frequent reaching-extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
• Consistent use of hands/fingers to handle or feel
• 90% of work to be performed in an outdoor environment subject weather, noise, and dust.
• Other physical duties, as needed.

Work/Education & Other Requirements:

• Safety first mentality
• Ability to pass company’s forklift operator certification test.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with team members within & outside of department.
• Possess knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Must be able to speak and write clearly and professionally.
• Must be customer service oriented with a positive personality.
• Ability to accurately identify product descriptions when picking orders.
• High School Diploma or GED.
